05.06.2011 - The blizzard is now over, as is our most recent activity check! Activity has been lagging for the past few weeks, but we'll pick it back up again by June, since that's when most of you hooligans get out of school. Anyways, expect a new skin at that time, and we'll also do our time skip this summer, which means that all characters will age by ten years! If you do not wish to create any new characters until then, we totally understand. We may even have liquid time so that some characters can remain the same age, if you choose to keep them at the age they're at now.

Keep Walking is a futuristic setting based in Colorado, USA, with the year currently being 2050. The weather went hay-wire 35 years ago and a wall was erected across the Colorado borders. Why? To keep the mutated wildlife in and trespassers out. Scientists from all across the country and the world were called together to create a brand new species that would be able to live and thrive in the abandoned state. So they created wolf-human hybrids; humans that could shift into wolves freely. For several years the wolves lived in peace, creating five packs, one of which recently disbanded. Lone wolves also existed on the edge of their world, claiming the Free Lands as their home. Lately though the scientists have extended their experiments to seven other kinds of animals; foxes, coyotes, cougars, lynxes, bears, deer, and elk. Thus, they have created new hybrids besides the wolves. They are very few of them though, and they live as loners and rogues outside the packs. Even though these creatures can be vicious, they still have hearts, minds, and souls, and they too wish to be free of their abandoned home. Will you stay behind in this savage state, or will you...

.CHARACTERS. If there are any major questions or plots involving a certain character, title the thread with their name and other members can join the discussions. Also list it here if a character undergoes significant changes like gaining a mate, being pregnant, or even if you're thinking about killing the character off. .NON-GUEST FRIENDLY.
.CHARACTER LOGS. Finding that you have way too many characters to keep track of, or other people want to know who your characters are? This is your place. You can make them unique in a way where you can ask for friends, enemies, lovers, or any other kind of relationship with the other wolves. .MATES. Does your character feel lonely and can't really find anyone who has interest in them? Feel free to post an ad here to ask other members if they'd like to have their character become your character's mate/boyfriend/girlfriend or whatever. .PUPS. Did two characters get together and have pups? Then post the pup's bios here where they can be given away to other members for roleplay. Keep in mind the pups must be limited to four if your character stays in wolf form for their pregnancy, or only two if they stay in human form. .THE SLAUGHTER HOUSE. If your character died, their bio will be moved here with the status of dead next to their name on the title. Colorado
.DURUS ANIMUS. This is the pack known as 'Enduring Courage'. They are the pack of valor, one with a large portion of land belonging to them. Their land runs from Fort Collins in the Northern part of Colorado, all the way down to Colorado Springs. This even includes the former capital, Denver. The members of this pack are always willing to help others indeed, even at their own risk, but there are a few shady members wandering the back alleys. While they're great allies to have, they're fearsome opponents few people would wish to meet in battle. .GUEST VIEWABLE.

.PULCHER CINERIS. 'Beautiful Ashes' is the name of this pack, who are the rivals of almost every other pack. While not as strong in number or area of land, they are also strong fighters who live in farmland territory, rather than in the city. Fiercely loyal to their pack and friends, the members of Beautiful Ashes will strike without warning against other wolves should they feel threatened in any way. Their homes range from Bennett all the way East to Yuma. .GUEST VIEWABLE.
.ARGENTEUS UMBRAE. Here lies the pack of 'Silver Shade'. They pride themselves in being very sneaky and often think themselves as the heroes, when in reality, they are the more vicious of the five wolf packs. Dark and sometimes cruel, there are very few wolves within this pack that contain pure and kind hearts. Be careful if you wander here; you may not leave without paying the price. They live in the South-West part of Colorado, with their territory running from Gunnison to Durango. .GUEST VIEWABLE.
.FORTIS FABULUM. The 'Strong Fable' pack stays here, hidden in secrets and mysteries. It is a tiny pack, but is comprised of some of the first wolves who were first introduced to this hellish nightmare a couple of decades ago. Young wolves journey here some times in order to find out who they really are, and discover knowledge about the early days of the wolves. They claim the area between Estes Park and Allens Park. .GUEST VIEWABLE.

.FREE LANDS. While there are many free areas in-between pack territories, this is one huge area in the South-East area of Colorado. Anyone is allowed to wander here, and many loners call this place their home. While this area is free, some smaller bands of wolves fight others in order to gain more territory, but the main five packs usually ignore the area. This spreads from Alamosa to Pueblo to Burlington and then extends all the way to the border. .GUEST VIEWABLE.
.OUTSIDE THE WALLS. Outside of the walls exist the scientists, their labs, and the places they go to frequently. They have everything from training grounds to a nature reserve, but mostly they stay in their labs and conduct experiments and do research. There's also an apartment complex and shopping center for the scientists since - believe it or not - they're people too. Their main underground, secret facility is also outside the walls, but where it's really located remains a mystery. .GUEST VIEWABLE.
